Arena
Arena turns your main legion into ranked competition
Arena is where your strongest Main Legion becomes your PvP roster. Wins add points, losses reduce points, and your current rank shows how well your legion holds up against the rest of the player base.
Arena is the main PvP ladder launched from Arena Hall. It uses your Main Legion against other players' Main Legions and feeds a live point-based rank ladder.
Section 1
How arena entry works
Arena starts from the Arena Hall and always uses the legion you marked as Main.
- The player must be signed in and have a valid Main Legion before entering matchmaking.
- The arena overlay loads profile data like tier, points, wins, and losses from the backend.
- Once a match is found, your Main Legion fights the other player's Main Legion.
- This makes your Main Legion the competitive roster that represents your account in Arena.
- Arena is PvP, so you are always measuring your roster against another player's roster instead of a normal PvE enemy tile.

Section 2
Why your main legion matters here
Arena heavily rewards players who keep one polished Main Legion ready at all times.
- Your Main Legion can field up to 6 units, so roster depth matters a lot.
- If your Main Legion only has 1 unit, you enter Arena at a major disadvantage against fuller enemy lineups.
- A weak or unfinished Main Legion directly lowers your Arena pressure even if your other legions are stronger in PvE.
- That makes unit levels, crafted gear rarity, procedural stat rolls, and preparation choices matter more once you move into ranked play.
Section 3
How to read the fight clearly
The battle screen already gives a simple visual cue so you can separate your legion from the enemy legion.
- You can determine your legion versus the other player's legion by the white outline on the health bars and rage bars.
- That visual separation is especially useful once both sides are fielding several units at the same time.
- It helps you read pressure, momentum, and surviving frontliners faster during PvP fights.
- This keeps the Arena battle easier to follow even when both lineups are fully built.
Section 4
How points and ranks work
Arena is a live ladder where every match changes your standing.
- Winning Arena adds points to your profile.
- Losing Arena removes points, so bad matches still matter.
- Those point swings decide your current rank and how high you can climb.
- Arena rewards players who keep one polished competitive legion ready instead of spreading all progress too thin.
Section 5
How matchmaking should be understood
Arena matchmaking follows the same general direction as Guild War.
- At the start, matchmaking can feel broader because the live player pool is still growing.
- That means some matches may feel easier or harder than expected from one queue to the next.
- The backend is already built to move matchmaking more toward rank and MMR for better balance over time.
- Because the backend supports public reads, the website can present live Arena standings without requiring login.
