FAQ
A quick guide to how walking, parties, battles, recovery, leaderboards, and support features work in Step Conquest.
Your real-world movement is read from your device step source, then converted into the usable step bank. That bank is what you spend on marching, battles, gathering, crafting, and station actions.
The most common causes are missing permissions, missing Health Connect or Apple Health access, or simply waiting for the next sync window. Step Conquest does not always update step data instantly, so a short delay is normal.
The app needs motion or activity recognition permission so it can read step count from your device. On Android it may also need Health Connect read access, and on iPhone it depends on the Apple Health permission path being enabled.
No, not always. Step Conquest already has a built-in phone pedometer path for counting steps. Health Connect on Android and Apple Health on iPhone are mainly helpful when you want to sync steps from watches or other supported third-party devices.
While the app is open, step syncing updates about every 10 seconds. That makes the in-game bank feel close to live during active play, while still depending on permissions and the available step source on your device.
Yes, as long as your device continues recording steps and Step Conquest still has permission to read them later. When you reopen the game, it can sync recorded history back into your gameplay bank.
Usually yes, if your phone or health source records them as real steps. Step Conquest depends on what your device and connected health source accept, so results can vary by device, settings, and whether you actually carried the phone or watch.
Check motion permission first, then confirm Health Connect or Apple Health access is still granted, and finally reopen the game so it can sync again. If Health Connect is installed but not authorized to read steps, Step Conquest will still not be able to bank them.
Yes, but your pace will be slower because the campaign loop is built around the usable step bank. A lower step day usually means fewer marches, fewer battles, and fewer station actions until you bank more movement.
Wins can conquer tiles, expand territory, and drop materials, but battle damage also stays on your legions. Recovery, route planning, and when to push forward all matter because world-map progress is persistent.
If a legion has no unit above 0 HP, it cannot keep conquering. You need to move that legion to the Infirmary first so it can recover before returning to the front.
The website mirrors the live public boards from the mobile app, including Rank, Guild, Arena, and Guild War. Rank also lets you browse steps and the major activity tracks so even newer players can measure progress in different ways.
